COACHELLA 2024 LIVESTREAM
I was the broadcast designer and animation director for the Coachella 2024 Livestream on YouTube.
MULTI CHANNEL DESIGN
The design challenge was to create a uniform structure across the entire broadcast, while maintaining a unique personality for each stage/channel.
The organizers wanted to give the people watching at home a feeling of space at the actual event.
So these maps were worked into the intros to orient the viewing audience as to where the stages are in relation to each other and which one you’re tuning in to.
SIX STAGES = SIX CHANNELS
2023 and 2024 Coachella livestreams featured a dedicated channel for each stage, six in total.
Here we made a schedule board for each stage with a built-in content window and custom schedule lineups.
